Experimenting in the studio is one of the great joys in being alive these days. This sweet little piece is the result of an idea that came out the way I'd hoped! I am so excited to share that in addition to being an artist at the wonderful Blue Moose Gallery in Fort Collins, I will also be a studio artist at Artworks in Loveland! Just sent this beautiful baby to her new home! This stone just makes me happy to look at it! Umbra garnet from Tanzania… this stone is an incredible color and has high refraction of light which allows exceptional brilliance and fire! I’ll be posting some rings on my website soon!

Just finished examples for my next class - hammered wire with beaded embellishments! So much fun to make. These will be available in my shop made to order in sterling silver or bronze, and with customizable bead colors. I feel that honoring our creativity is one way to make the world a better place. I love teaching, and taking classes! I was lucky to participate in a couple of workshops with Robyn Cornelius in Tucson, and came away with some great techniques and tips! She is a great instructor and I love the pieces I made - including this lovely labradorite floral pendant. 💙 💚

It’s 20 degrees and I’m counting on these gorgeous gemstones I brought home from the amazing Tucson Gem show to keep me warm. Gah!! Burmese sapphires, salt and pepper herkimer diamonds, dainty druzy pairs, and yummy golden hills turquoise from Kazakhstan!! Do you have any ideas on what I should do with them? Hope you’re staying warm wherever you are! My first workshop at The Blue Moose Gallery in Fort Collins was a great success! 10 different students created 10 different beautiful jewelry creations. It’s so fun to see how happy people are at the end of class. 3 more classes are on the schedule for February and March!

Hi! I hope your new year is treating you well so far. One of the highlights of my 2025 so far is how the ring that I was commissioned to make for a friend turned out! I'm calling it the Cindy ring... Gorgeous rosecut blue sapphire, set in a fancy sterling bezel with a floral patterned band. Gah! It's so pretty. Let me know if I can make one for you, or a sweetheart... Valentine's Day is around the corner!

I just finished up a custom bracelet - a gift for my client’s daughter. It turned out so beautifully that I had to make another! Forged square jeweler’s brass and turquoise in a sterling setting. I love when that happens, and I’m thankful for clients with great ideas. ❤️

Happy second week of November (already!). We had snow and freezing temperatures here, so I spent my time working on flowers and butterflies!
